Can it be true?...school is starting soon! Now there’s a summer that FLEW by! For those of us in Missouri, we can remember it by ALL the rain, and ALL the H-O-T weather. And, it is not over yet! We hope you are all safe and sound after the hurricane in Texas, and the earthquake in California. What a crazy summer it has been.
SUMMER SALE DAYS!
August 6-10, 2008
We use our SUMMER SALE to pare down some leftovers, and clear the racks for more new items. Many items will be priced at CLEARANCE prices that are too good to pass up! Help us clean up our shelves while you can get some GOOD BARGAINS! The sale prices will appear on our site at 12:01am, August 6, and disappear at midnight, August 10. The SALE prices WILL be on your order form! Supplies are limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ll do our very best to eliminate the “sold” items, to reduce disappointment. This is a very popular sale!
You are welcome to add any “non-sale” items to your order, too.
We are taking pre-orders for the Just CrossStitch Ornament magazine for 2008. It will be released in September. It is – by far – the MOST popular item in counted cross stitch, every year. Thanks to all who have already ordered it. We still have room for more! We will charge and ship it, by itself, as soon as it arrives in September. We will add a nominal postage fee when we mail it. See it on our site by searching our CATALOG by Keyword ornament magazine.
Mirabilia Designs is shipping again. Our suppliers have notified us. We should be receiving them the first week of August. As far as we know, NONE of the designs have been discontinued. And, in addition to that, Mirabilia Designs/Nora Corbett Designs released two more fairies and started their alphabet series with a tiny fairy or pixie on each letter. They are extremely feminine, and should stitch up quickly.
One of our suppliers is adding the Gloriana Threads. We have added all their silk already. Just look at the WONDERFUL colors! We have them listed alphabetically, and numerically, AND individually with a color image for them (well, ALMOST all of them)! We have had many orders already, so we guess you were waiting for them!! We will offer GLORIANA THREADS at 20% off the regular price, now thru the end of August to encourage you to try them. We think you will be very pleased! You will not see the savings on your order form, but we will allow 20% off the regular price of ALL Gloriana silk threads from now until midnight, August 31. 2008. For those of you who have already ordered some, you, too, will receive 20% off the regular price as a “thank you” for starting the orders!

M Designs started a “Checkered” series!
MYSTIC STITCH added lots of new designs. Did you see their NEW Folk Santa Collection?
The Stitchworks added a heart trio for June, and one for July. Stitch these as shown, or stitch each heart separately for LOTS of different finishing ideas!
SamSarah Design Studio is continuing their BAUBLES with September. Add the cute JABC buttons for a wonderful finish.
WAXING MOON added more delightful Halloween designs, and started a series called “Color Wonders” which uses one overdyed thread on the fabric. Use a hand-dyed fabric, or choose a plain one for your project.
GLENDON PLACE, BOBBIE G, LIZZIE KATE, IMAGINATING, and MORE have added Halloween, and fall/harvest designs.
Did you see the NEW Nancy Spruance Victorian House? – COUNTRY VICTORIAN COTTAGE. We are sooo happy to see her designing again!
Homespun Elegance released their 2008 Santa, Snowman, and Sampler Ornaments, and the orders are flying in for them!
There’s a NEW Precious Moments – PM71 – FOR LITTLE BOYS, Volume 2.
Did you see TULIP I, by Kustom Krafts? This is unusual for them, but a SUPER design!

We are updating our fabrics, and adding individual color images for as many as we can. The computer age is much better than when we started, so the color images will be reflected on your own personal computer better. When at all possible, we will add the comparable DMC color match, to help you, too.
